dc.description	A. Cleanthe bicolor Salisb. Upper half of plant. B. Sparaxis tricolor Ker (Fluweelbloem). C. Homeria elegans. Sweet Portion of inflorescence. (From Caledon). D. Homeria aurantiaca. Sweet Poisonous! E. Homeria collina Vent. Poisonous! 1. Whole plant, ½ nat. size, the leaf shorter in proportion. 2. Corm. 3. Corm, the front part of the shell removed in order to expose the small solid kernel. 4. Part of inflorescence, on the flower an insect visitor (Sirphus capensis) and, hidden underneath the stigma, a crab-spider, which is lying in wait for insects visiting the flower.
