dc.description.abstract	This index describes the E. C. van der Lingen Collection containing of articles and memoirs. Mrs. E.C. van der Lingen was the sister of Prof. R.W. Wilcocks, previous rector of the University of Stellenbosch. The collection contains her and her mother's memoirs of the Anglo Boer War, as well as material on her involvement in women's associations and political parties in South Africa.
