dc.description.abstract	Coloured map. Scale not given. Title is given in bottom right corner & is not enclosed in a cartouche. On lower left side are 2 notes, 1 on "St. Helena” & the other on the "Cape of Good Hope". In the middle of Africa there is also a note on "Abyssinia." 1810 is written in pencil in bottom right corner below the map, however this does not seem to be one of the maps produced by Kitchin himself which continued to appear in various books after his death. It seems likely to have been published before his death in 1784.
