Abstract
This index describes the R.W. Wilcocks collection which contains correspondence regarding university subsidies, salaries and facilities as well as the findings of the Commission of Enquiry re the Cape Coloured populaion of the Union. Prof. R.W. Wilcocks was Rector of the University of Stellenbosch between 1934-1953. The collection consists of Correspondence ; memorandums ; documents re universities ; certificates ; diplomas ; note books compiled in 10 pamphlet boxes (ca. 187 items) ; + 4 cardboard boxes.
