The wine estate La Motte in Simondium has a very neat bell tower in which hangs a simple and well-kept bell. There are no decorations on the bell, only on the knee we find below two moulding rings the inscription that refers to the founder. One reads JOHN WARNER & SONS LONDON 1868. The bell has a strange green color that could indicate that it has been painted. On the way out of the estate stands a small chapel with a bell in the tower. The bell is from the MEARS & STAINBANK foundry in UK. The bell has no date but the chapel carries the year 1905.
