The article was written in response to The Spike Milligan show featuring Ashley Parker, the prodigal sons, Gary and Spider as well as Anna Raven who served as supporting acts. Although the author acknowledged Milligan's funny performance, he also notes how the show was not significantly different from his previous concerts, thereby stating that he lacked new content.
