The article pertained to attorney Mr. Joel Carlson who had defended those who died in police detention. His passport was taken by authorities for the purpose of attempting to decrease his influence as a form of punishment. The attorney calls for Mrs Helen Suzman to protest on his behalf to the Minister of the Interior.
