| dc.description.abstract | The first article is based on an interview with David Marks whereby folk became the main focus. The second article pertains to a discussion between Dave Marks and Anne Stevens on the importance of song writers singing about South Africa rather than other countries. Additional mentions regarding the importance of folk as well as some additional points relating to folk in South Africa were also included. The final article reports on another reworked hit single composed by David Marks known as "Fairy Gold" which he had written in 1967 which was performed later by Nick Taylor. | |
