Hemel-en-Aarde, Ataraxia. On the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde road from Hermanus to Caledon lie a number of well-known wineries. One of them is the Ataraxia Estate. The main building on the estate is the tasting room that has been built like a wedding chapel. On top of the front entrance of the building figures a small belfry that contains a bell in its bell-cote. The bell has no decorations and can be rung by pulling a rope that is hanging down from the bell to the front entrance.en
