Abstract
This index describes the N. J. Brümmer collection and it consists of articles ; correspondence ; programmes ; newspaper clippings ; varia. This collection contains newspaper clippings of articles written by Prof. Brummer, theologist and professor in philosophy at Stellenbosch University. He was also editor of De Goede Hoop. The articles are arranged under titles 'Erns en luim', 'Sosiale euwels' and 'Op die weegskaal'. 'Die ou taalstryd' contains articles by Brummer and programmes of other Afrikaans language festivals.
