Abstract
This index describes the L. C. van Oordt collection and is of interest to Afrikaans language scientists. It contains copies of archival material from the Kaapse taalargief, 1649-1800, recorded by order of prof. J. du P. Scholtz, 1959-1962. A further donation by prof P.T. Roberge to this collection is an electronically coded file of these documents which enable users to search for words, also available as paper copy. These documents were coded by prof. Roberge with the assistance of Jennifer Putterman. 2 pamphlet boxes (38 items) ; 42 cm. + 1 book (200 p.)
