Attached to one of the building of the estate Rietfontein is a stone construction in which hangs a small bell. Above the sound bow are three moulding wires and they make up the decorations on the bell. What is remarkable is the lid above the bell, where we normally would expect a shoulder and a crown. This suggests that the bell has been made by a local blacksmith.
