Abstract

This index describes the Ossewa-Brandwag collection that contains documents in connection with the Ossewa-Brandwag, an organisation which was founded in 1938 with the aim to promote and maintain the ideals of the Voortrekkers and the Afrikaans culture. During 1940 the Ossewa-Brandwag became involved in politics. The collection includes the complete preliminary investigation in connection with the High Treason Trial of 1942 (358 p.).
