The Methodist Church in Langebaan is a pretty building that stands next the Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk. On its right hand side stands a green, wooden construction in which we find a bell of modest dimensions. As decorations we find two moulding wires, one below the shoulder, the other above the sound bow. However, this time we can trace the founder as the emblem of the Barwell-foundry figures in the middle on the rear side of the bell. Just below the emblem we notice a small crack of some 10 cm that spoils the sound of the bell.
