Milnerton, Sonnekus Dutch Reformed Church. In the attractive tower of the Dutch Reformed Church in Milnerton Sonnekus hangs a bell that is easily accessible. The bell hangs in a steel frame in an open tower that is almost entirely filled with wires and equipment for telephony. With a bit of effort, the bell could be viewed from all sides. Below the shoulder are two pairs of moulding wires with in between * J. Taylor & Co * Loughborough * Eng * 1952 * There are three more moulding wires above the sound bow and two on the lip. Even when the bell has been hanging close to the ocean and in an open tower, it is still well preserved. Only the clapper shows signs of rust.en
