Newspaper advertisement by the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) addressing the alleged police brutality, arms smuggling, and train, taxi, and hostel attacks carried out by police generals under National Party (NP) governance. The advertisement asks the Western Cape not to let the corrupt NP government run the region. Images of Minister of Law and Order and NP premier for the Western Cape, Hernus Kriel, as well as NP Leader, F. W. de Klerk appear alongside one another in the upper half of the advertisement.
