The small church of Die Vleie dates from 1946. In the middle of the roof stands a lantern tower that is completely closed off on the outside. Moreover, it was impossible to reach the small bell that hangs in the tower. The only operation that we could perform was to make a sound recording. Thanks to information that was received in Hoekwil, we learned about the existence of a small outstation of the church in Wilderness Heights.en_ZA
