dc.description.abstract | On the premises of the fruit estate Kromfontein, owned by the family Du Toit, hangs a very neat bell in a very attractive construction. The bell has quite large dimensions but shows no decorations that could help in retrieving its history. On the other hand, the bell is in excellent condition with no defects or signs of corrosion. This suggests that the bell has been recently made, probably simultaneously with the bell with the same dimensions and kept in the neighboring estate De Keur. | en_ZA |
