Drawing of an elliptical building, Zimbabwe, based on a survey by Franklin White, 1903. Hut details plotted by Randall Maciver, 1905, F.E. Masey, 1909 and James Walton, 1953. Entrances and drains surveyed by R.N. Hall, 1902-3. Wall details by J.F. Schofield, 1923 and C.G. Stevens, 1931. The drawing depicts detail of monoliths, a central area, a platform area a conical tower, a chevron pattern, early walling, later walling, hut gap infillings, drains, hut foundations and monoliths.
