The Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk in Riversdale has a very impressive tower in which hangs a single bell in an iron frame. The decorations on the bell are the following: Just below the shoulder is a decorative band with anchor type motifs. On one waist of the bell is an effigy of Christ above the text SEID TAETER DES WORTS UND NICHT HOERER ALLEIN. Three moulding wires are forged above the knee and another three on the lip. In between is written ED. KORFHAGE & SOEHNE BUER. PROVINZ HANNOVER 1906. We have encountered bells from the same founder in Bredasdorp and Swellendam.
