Photographs and information on the bell of the Dutch Reformed Church in Touws River. Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk: The congregation was established in 1937. The bell tower houses a bell that has been specifically cast for the church, however by an unknown founder. The only decoration on the bell sits on one waist and reads TOUWS RIVER 1959. Unfortunately, a few letters of the decoration have disappeared suggesting that the decoration has been glued to the bell after it was finished rather than as integral part of the founding.
