dc.description.abstractDrawing of a plan of Fort Wilhelm, Middelburg, depicting detail of the main entrance to Masemola's Village (9ft. high outside with a 4 wooden lintels), guard huts, a firing ledge, tower B with a paved entrance, East Bastion to Matlala's Village, West Bastion, Masemola's enclosure, Matlala's enclosure (3ft. 6in. high with 3 wooden lintels) and a cattle kraal (11ft. high). Details are also provided of oxidised stones set in daga and unoxidised stones with no daga.
