Abstract
Drawing of conical towers on the East African Coast, depicting detail of Ibadhi Mosque, Mombasa (after 1846 A.D., probably c.1850 A.D.), Minaret of Shela Mosque (1829 A.D.), lighthouse, Mombasa and Minaret of Malindi Mosque, Zanzibar (c.1831 A.D., but Caton Thompson 1860 A.D.).
