    Abstract
An anecdotal, biographical and analytical synopsis of the important place of the Afrikaans language in his life. Accompanied by manuscript. On page 6 of the holograph manuscript there is a note regarding a 1988 conference at the Victoria Falls about a “future cultural South Africa without Apartheid”, and about Antjie Krog’s first meeting with ANC members in exile.
