Drawing of the suggested restoration of a water-wheel, depicting detail of a wooden trough (launder), a 3 in x 4 in spoke, a trough, 4 iron bars, a shaft, a mill wall and a pit wheel. Details are also provided of a section of a joint of felloes, depicting 2 felloes, an iron rod and a joint. A section of a bucket, depicting ½ in tongued and grooved boards (bucket sole) and a ¾ in thick bucket board. An iron cross-head gudgeon and a shaft (axle-tree), depicting a cross-head gudgeon, iron hoops, a water-wheel and a bit-wheel.
