dc.description	Crassulaceae. A. Cotyledon orbiculata L. 1. Branch, with visiting fly, Pangonia rostrata. The leaf attacked by the larva of Agrotis lineata. (The moth is figured on Plate 42 of Vol. iv.). 2. One carpel with nectariferous scale. 3. Transverse section of leaf, the white rim indicating the crust of waxy powder secreted by the epidermis. B. C. Meyeri Harv. C. C. decussata Sims. Small twig. D. C. trigyna Burch. This plant was at one time thought to be a variety of C. rhombifolia Haw., but is now considered to be Burchell’s C. trigyna, of which the original description is rather incomplete (fide S. Schönland).
