dc.description	A. Zantedeschia Rehmanni (N. E. Br.) Engl. 1. Plant in flower, nat. size. 2. Inflorescence (spadix), after removal of spathe, at a later stage, the ovaries fully developed. B. Z. aethiopica Spreng. (Richardia africana Kunth)1. Rootstock with branch-lets, which easily separate from the parent plant. 2. Inflorescence (spadix), after removal of spathe (pure white), showing the white pollen, which coheres in threads. 3. One female flower with 3 staminodes. 4. One stamen from male portion of spadix, showing threads of pollen at its apex. 5. Transverse section of ovary, 3-celled. 6. Ripe spadix with spathe partly withered, while the remaining portion, which encloses the growing fruit, has become green. C. Z. angustiloba (Schott) Engl. 1. Spathe and spadix, nat. size. 2. Spadix, lower part, one half of the male portion removed, the basal portion of the spathe showing the blotch on the inner side.
