dc.description	Disa uniflora Berg. 1. Plant with new tuber, which would produce the plant of the following season. 2. Upper portion of plant. 3. Odd sepal. 4. Column. p. petals; a. anther; sti. stigma; gl. glands; ro. rostellum. 5. Pollinium. 6. Petals and column, front view. 7. Fruit, ripe. 8. Capsule, split, shedding the seeds. 9. Seed. 50/1. 10. Young plant, forming the new tuber at a deeper level, as its position was evidently too far removed from the permanent water supply. 11. Section through upper side of petal, showing the red sap and the layer of yellow chromatophores (anthoxanthin) of the cells. 12. Meneris tulbaghia, with a pollinium on its proboscis.
