| dc.description.abstract | Photographs and information on a bell on the Oude Kloof farm in Tulbagh. A bit further on the same road as Montpellier outside Tulbagh lies the wine estate Oude Kloof. The farm has a bell-tower in which hangs a bell like the one in Klein Parys in the Paarl area. However the installation within the tower is far less attractive than in Klein Parys. According to the owner, the bell had been bought in Vrijstaat. The owner also showed us pieces of another such bell that he bought in Lesotho and that were stored on the farm. | |
