Drawing of Dzata, based on a sketch plan by J.F. Schofield, 1942, with minor additions by James Walton, 1953. The drawing depicts detail of the occupational area, a stockade, 3 mounds, a hut of the principal wife, a sacred grove, huts of the chief's wives, monoliths, 3 chiefs seats, a great hut, the chief's kitchen, the chief's passage to the kitchen, the chief's seat for beer drinking, the chief's seat for watching cattle, the chief's cattle kraal, a cattle kraal and dancing floor, a khoro and a main entrance.
