The article contextualises Parker's music career and journey by mentioning how three of his tracks were featured in a documentary he participated in. Using the money earned from the documentar,y Parker bought a guitar and started his musical career whereby he performed for 18 months at a hotel in Hilbrow before travelling overseas. On his return, Parker then performed in Johannesburg where he met Nick Alexander. The article then goes on to describe the nature of his musical journey with fellow composer Alexander within the South African mainstream music scene. | |
