    Abstract
The black and white newspaper photographs with short captions pertain to the Free People's Concert. Apart from some contextualisation, the author makes mention of musicians such as Clarabelle van Niekerk, Edi Nederlander and Juluka (Johnny Clegg and Sipho Mchunu) which were reportedly the highlight acts of the concert.
