    Abstract
    This document provides a short synopsis on a production called "Freedom Sounds - The South African Musical Journey to Liberation". This production discusses the Marabi form through the influences of individuals such as Abdullah Ibrahim, Dusty Springfield, Paul Simon, Johnny Clegg, Bob Marley, Manfred Mann and several others.
